What is google bombing? It is placing a link with the same term, i.e., web hosts and desginers, to the same site. The original intention of this site was to help a friend get his web hosting and designing business off the ground. Whoops, instead, I'm No. 1 on the Yahoo search for web hosts and designers, No. 2 for "web hosts and designers" with the "" thingies. Sadly, such blatent attepts to get to the top of Google's search gets you penalized, so I have yet to find this page on a Google search. So sad. to get on the top of a Google search, you must be more subtle in your approach. However, this page proves that you can force your way to the top of a search engine search, something that few other pages have done. UPDATE- in an effort to appease Google to some extent, I have deleted all the links that were on this site. I just read how if Google gets really P.O.'d at you, they completely ignore your links, forever, so yeah, thats the end of this experiment. The results were interesting. And, for those wondering what is next for this type of activity, I have started a web hosting review site that has approximately 1300 links to it. I won't include any of those links on this page though, go back to the homepage of this site.
